We Write to Make It Better: The Need for Queer & Diverse YA

Hosted by Flyleaf Books, this afternoon will feature conversation and readings from YA authors S. Jae-Jones, Nita Tyndall, Sarah Van Name, and Jeremy Whitley and will be moderated by the 2024 NC Piedmont Laureate Steven Petrow. Topics discussed may include creating diverse and queer characters, the writing process, and book-banning.

We'll make sure to save space for audience questions, so come ready to join the discussion! Books will also be available for purchase from all of us.

Have You Seen This Girl - Launch

I’ll be at Letters Bookshop in conversation with Nita Tyndall for the launch of Nita's excellent new YA novel, Have You Seen This Girl, an "absorbing, plot-driven, skin-crawling thriller" (Kirkus Reviews). Copies of Have You Seen This Girl will be available for purchase during the event, and believe me, you’ll want to pick one up.
